INTRO LETTER
Hi! Thank you for reading my letter. I am excited to be writing this letter as my life long dream is to become a mom. I grew up in a loving family with my parents and 2 older sisters. I was a shy child, good in school, and loved spending my free time with my family. I loved going to sports games with my dad and I loved playing cards and cooking with my mom. As I got older, I knew my career would be in the line of helping others. I loved volunteering and I was interested in understanding why some people struggled with their self-esteem (like myself when I was younger). I either wanted to be a kindergarten teacher because I love being with children and watching them grow, or a psychotherapist so I could help people build their sense of self. I focused my 20's on my education and was so proud of my accomplishments in becoming a registered psychotherapist and a college professor. So now I get to do both, teach and help others with their mental health. I hae built a very successful career that not only I love but also provides me with a stable and happy life.
When I am not at work, I love spending time with my dog (going for walks, giving him tummy rubs, grooming him, and playing with him and his toys) and with my 4 nieces and nephews. I was right there on the other side of the door when each of them were born and I love them as if they were my own children. Ranging now between 15 and 8 years old, I love hanging out with them, whether helping them with homework after school, taking them to the mall or local theme park, watching moves, building a snowman, anything they enjoy doing I am right there with them.
I have a great relationship with my parents and sisters. My mom is my best friend and I love hanging out with her. My sisters and I love sharing funny stories and sharing recipes. I love cooking and baking, watching movies, going to yoga and kickboxing classes, and trying new things. I also love spending time visiting with my closest friends.
I am loving my career, am a proud homeowner, and am surrounded by a great family. I always knew that I wanted to be a mom and that this was actually my calling here on earth. In my 30's I was focued more on building my family, but after not meeting the right person to spend my life with and build a family with, I made the decision to pursue motherhood as a single and strong woman. I have the support of my closest friends and family and for that I am so grateful. My future babies are already surrounded by so much love and support. Their grandparents cannot wait to hold them, play with them, and have pajama parties with them! Their aunts and uncles cannot wait to spoin them and cuddle them. Their cousins share the same excitement - they are so excited to get to help their auntie with taking care of them and they have even asked if they can call them siblings instead of cousins because they are all much closer to each other than cousins! My nieces will read to them and teach them to play board games, and my nephews will teach them all about sports and playing the guitar. I am so blessed to know that my future babies have an entire family of love waiting for them to arrive here with us.
I started my fertility journey about 4 years ago. I went through IVF and unfortunately learned that I likely would not be able to conceive with my own eggs. I did a lot of self-care, self-discovery, and supportive therapy to process my fertility journey and make the decision to now pursue embryo adoption to help me conceive.
I have always wanted a big family. I wanted 4 kids so that they would grow up and have each other to lean on. I wanted them to always feel that they belonged in their family and know how much they were loved by me. I realized that whether or not my babies shared my genetics was not the most important factor, and that what was important was that I could fulfill my dream and raise amazing kids to always know that they are loved and that they are worthy of love and happiness. I cannot wait to be a mom and hold my babies in my arms and watch them grow into amazing people. I am excited to hug them when they are sad, jump for joy with them when they reach milestones in their lives, teach them how to be strong and loving people, play with them, and be their biggest cheerleader in life.
I will forever be grateful to you for being a part of my journey and helping me to make my dream of becoming a mom come true. It will be the most precious gift that anyone could give me and I will always live life and raise my future children in a way that will make you proud and will assure you that your donation to me has created miracles. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and my hopes for building a family!
