INTRO LETTER
REFERENCE LETTER 1
September 30, 2024
To Whom It May Concern:
I have had the pleasure of knowing Nate and Michelle for the past 5 years. Nate and my husband Brad have been friends since they were toddlers. During the past 5 years Nate and Michelle have become more than friends -they are chosen family. Nate and Michelle and their families have accepted me with open arms.
I can't think of two individuals that would make better parents then Nate and Michelle. They are both are kind, smart, genuine and will go above and beyond for their family and friends. Nate and Michelle have had a long journey to becoming parents. When Nate and Michelle found out they had been selected to adopt Eden my husband and I had recently found out we were expecting our first child. We couldn't be more excited that our kids would grow up together and we would experience the ups and downs of parenthood together. During my pregnancy Michelle would regularly check in on me to see how I was feeling and was also there to be a soundboard for the new feelings about becoming a first time mom.
Nate and Michelle have stepped into the role of parents with ease and grace. At times in their journey, it has been stressful and uncertain, but they never let that show to the outside world and have always kept a positive attitude. It has been a blessing to watch them with Eden and the joy they have for being parents. Any child would be lucky to join the Bolton family and have Nate and Michelle as parents and Eden as a big sister.
Sincerely,
Megan Graham

REFERENCE LETTER 2

To Whom It May Concern
:
It is my utmost pleasure to write this letter in support of Nathan and Michelle Bolton as they seek to adopt a new addition to their family. Nathan is my first cousin, whom I’ve known my entire life, and Michelle is his wonderful wife, whom I’ve had the pleasure of knowing for nearly 20 years. They are not only our dear friends, but are godparents to our daughter, Finley.
Nathan and Michelle have loved both of our daughters like their own. It has proven difficult for me to express how greatly they have impacted our kids, because words do not seem to fully encompass the genuine appreciation I have for them as role models and caregivers. From celebrating joyful milestones to coping with the grief of losing loved ones, Nathan and Michelle have continuously shown compassion, resilience, and commitment to family. I’ve always known them to have incredibly kind hearts, but now I’ve had the privilege of witnessing them as parents, and it’s been truly remarkable.
Their lives changed in February of 2024 when they received the most incredible news imaginable. The prospect of having a tiny little one to call their own was as close to reality as it had ever been. Filled with hope, nerves, and love, they anxiously planned and awaited the arrival of a little girl who would soon be theirs. Eden Aubrie was born on April 6, 2024, and in July of 2024 she officially became a “Bolton.”
Not surprisingly, they have shown great empathy, patience, and love as they navigate the journey of parenting. Even through sleepless nights, the depth and strength of Nathan and Michelle’s relationship is apparent. Eden is a calm and happy baby, which reflects her sense of security and strong attachment to her nurturing parents.
Nathan, Michelle, and Eden are eager to grow their family through adoption once again. I am certain that any child placed with the Boltons will thrive in their home. They will undoubtedly continue to foster a safe, loving, and supportive environment, and I eagerly anticipate the day when Eden can become a big sister. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions or need additional information.
Thank you for considering Nathan and Michelle Bolton as adoptive parents.
Sincerely,
Amy Eckels degarmo@uwalumni.com 608-931-3100
